Swimming Upstream
A film created by myself and filmmaker Alice Underwood. 

The project was developed over 2021 with participants of About Being Dance for Stroke Survivors’ Group and University of Cumbria dance students and graduates, in partnership with Susie Tate Projects and Dance Art Foundation.  Poetry was co-created by project participants and Rachel Beadle.  Swimming Upstream was funded by the People’s Postcode Lottery with artist support by Joe Moran (Artistic Director, Dance Art Foundation) and Sandie Fisher (Principal Lecturer in Performing Arts, University of Cumbria).

Children in Need  
4 month project at Jigsaw  

Between 2019 and into the COVID pandemic, I worked at Jigsaw Children’s Hospice in Carlisle.

Funded by Children in Need, the BBC came in to film some of the work. Here you will see me dance with two young people and an interview with Jigsaw’s Activity Coordinator and one of the children’s parents.
